This Privacy Policy explains what information we may receive, how we use it to provide and improve our services, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide
- Contact information you submit through our forms or communications may include your name, email address, phone number, and date of birth when you choose to provide it for newsletter-related communications or other requested purposes.
- Project information may include descriptions of your renovation goals, rooms involved, preferred services, approximate project requirements, scheduling preferences, and other details you voluntarily include when requesting an estimate or consultation.
- Communication information may include messages, questions, appointment details, responses, and other information you provide when communicating with our team about a potential or active project.
2. Property and project details
When you ask us to discuss a renovation, remodeling, repair, design, or related home service, you may choose to provide information about your property and the work you have in mind. This can include the type of project, approximate property characteristics, areas requiring attention, preferred materials, photographs or descriptions, access considerations, and other information that helps us understand your request. We use these details to communicate with you, prepare project information, coordinate consultations, and develop estimates or proposals where appropriate.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to questions, requests, estimate inquiries, and consultation requests.
- To understand your project requirements and communicate about potential or scheduled services.
- To coordinate appointments, project discussions, documentation, and related communications.
- To send newsletters or optional updates when you have specifically chosen to receive them.
- To improve our website, communications, customer experience, and service processes.
- To protect the website, prevent misuse, maintain records, and meet applicable legal or administrative obligations.
4. Newsletter and optional communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may use the contact information you provide to send periodic communications about Bright Living Craft, home services, project ideas, company updates, or other content associated with your subscription. If you provide your date of birth for an optional birthday-related communication, we may use that information for the stated purpose. Marketing communications are optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not necessarily stop essential communications relating to a service request or project.
5. What we do not do with your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. We do not use the information you submit through our website as a product for others to purchase. We use personal information primarily to operate our business, respond to your requests, coordinate services, maintain appropriate records, and provide communications you have requested.
6. Service providers and trusted partners
We may rely on carefully selected service providers to support ordinary business functions such as website hosting, form processing, email delivery, scheduling, communications, document management, analytics, or project administration. These providers receive only information reasonably necessary for the service they perform and are expected to handle it according to their applicable obligations. If you specifically ask us to connect you with a third-party provider, such as a financing provider or another professional involved in your requested service, we may share the information needed to fulfill that request. Once information is transferred to an independent third party at your direction, that party's own privacy practices may apply.
7. Website activity and cookies
When you browse our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically. Depending on the technologies in use, this may include your browser type, device category, approximate location information, referring page, pages viewed, general interaction patterns, and technical information about how the website is accessed. We may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences, support website functionality, understand general usage patterns, and identify areas where the site can be improved. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Some website features may operate differently when certain cookies are disabled.
8. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, inappropriate disclosure, alteration, or loss. Access to information may be limited to team members, contractors, or service providers who have a legitimate business reason to use it. No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we encourage you to avoid sending highly sensitive information through ordinary website forms or email unless specifically requested.
9. How long we keep information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining project records, handling communications, resolving questions, meeting contractual or administrative needs, and complying with applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and whether it relates to an active, completed, or potential project. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it, subject to legitimate recordkeeping requirements.
10. Third-party websites and services
Our website may contain links, tools, embedded features, or references to websites and services operated by other organizations. These third-party services may collect information under their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control the privacy practices of independent websites, and visiting an external service means you should review that provider's privacy information before submitting personal details. A link from our website does not necessarily mean that Bright Living Craft operates, controls, or endorses the privacy practices of that external service.
11. Your privacy choices
- You may unsubscribe from optional marketing or newsletter communications using the unsubscribe link provided in those messages.
- You may contact us to request access to personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable verification and legal requirements.
- You may ask us to correct information that you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
- You may request deletion of information where deletion is appropriate and permitted under applicable law.
- You may ask questions about how your information is being used or request clarification about our privacy practices.
12. Requests and verification
For privacy requests, we may need enough information to confirm your identity and locate the relevant records. This helps protect personal information from being disclosed to someone who is not authorized to receive it. We will review reasonable requests and respond in accordance with applicable requirements. Certain information may need to be retained when required for legal, contractual, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
13. Children's information
Our website and home services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly request or intentionally collect personal information from children under 18 through our ordinary website forms. If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to us, they may contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate steps where required.
14. Accuracy and updates
We encourage you to provide accurate and current information when communicating with us. If your contact details or project information changes, you may ask us to update the records we maintain. We may also revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or applicable requirements. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this website with its revised effective or update date where appropriate. Your continued use of the website after an update means you can review the revised policy as it applies to future website activity.
15. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to make a privacy request, or would like clarification about how your information is handled, please email info@brightlivingcraft.com. We will review your request and provide an appropriate response based on the information available to us and any applicable legal requirements.
